Twin Peaks And Friends Bring Chi-Town Rock To The Big Apple
Two openers warmed up the stage for the guys. The first of which was Jimmy Whispers, former frontman of the band Light Pollution (back then he was Jim Cicero). He came to the stage dressed in baggy khaki pants and power gloves only to reveal a cotton floral dress underneath which he later stripped down to.

Interview: Alt-Rock Band The Maine Talks Fall Tours
Free shows, performing entire albums, and what's still to come in the future. Alternative-rock band The Maine is currently on two tours, neither of which are all too common in the music world. The Maine presents American Candy involves the band playing their latest release (the namesake of the tour) in its entirety, while the Free for All Tour is entirely comprised of no-cost gigs.

Brooklyn band talks first headlining tour
Brooklyn-based folk pop duo Oh Honey, which comprises Mitchy Collins and Danielle Bouchard, set out on their first headlining tour March 24. “Wish You Were Here,” the fourth and final installment “The Postcard Series” of EPs, was released prior to touring. Oh Honey spoke with WSN to discuss their upcoming tour and performance in New York.

Interview: Jaymay Talks Her Christmas Album
The singer-songwriter provides fans with a new tune each day until Christmas. New York native Jaymay has been churning out anti-folk tunes since the early 2000s. Her most recent project is "Jaymay Sings Christmas." She spoke with about this album as well as the future for both Odyssey and WNYU. "It's a 26 song advent calendar," Jaymay said of the album.

Nick Santino talks going solo and learning curves
Before taking the stage at The Studio of Webster Hall, singer-songwriter Nick Santino sat at a vacant bar in the back and spoke with WSN. Dressed in a tattered denim shirt, Lynyrd Skynyrd t-shirt, and many silver rings, Santino mentions he’s played the venue about half a dozen times over the past year.

The Maine talk new album, 8123 records, future plans
Earlier, The Maine spent their summer on the Vans’ Warped Tour, five years after first headlining. The big difference was the band didn’t get “hung up on the politics of what the tour is and what the tour can contain,” O’Callaghan said. Monaco added, “Just like any other scenario with a bunch of different people in one place, you can position yourself to have a great time.”.

Interview: Molly Chapman Talks Life As A Student And A Musician
The NYU singer-songwriter shares thoughts on what it's like to balance both worlds. When you meet Molly Chapman, you instantly feel like you want her to become one of your closest friends. She is warm and bubbly, acknowledging you with a "Hey, girl!" and a smile. She'll embrace you in a hug and admit to you that her California-girl roots have not prepared her for the winter cold (which is why she's wearing tights underneath her jeans).

Ezra’s debut album makes ‘Voyage’ to US
English musician George Ezra has topped the charts internationally but has yet to make a name for himself stateside. Perhaps Ezra was hoping to build anticipation around his first album, “Wanted on Voyage,” by releasing it in the United States seven months after its European debut. “Wanted on Voyage” opens with “Blame It on Me,” an upbeat track whose lyrics touch upon fantastical traveling, women and rhetorical questions.
